Our Commitment
Etra Global builds AI systems that analyze complex global activity and deliver intelligence to individuals and institutions. We take seriously the responsibility that comes with that work. This policy defines how we think about it.

How We Build
Every product we ship starts with one question: does this protect and elevate the person using it? That question is not a filter applied at the end of development. It is the foundation we build on. We design our systems to inform, not to influence. Our role is to help people see what is actually happening in the world — not to tell them what to think about it, how to feel about it, or what to do with it. That distinction matters to us and it is structural, not incidental.
Our Data Standards

Etra Global integrates publicly available data from established institutional sources including the World Health Organization, NASA, the World Bank, the U.S. Geological Survey, the Federal Reserve, the CDC, ACLED, GDELT, and ESA Copernicus. We do not use proprietary, classified, or non-consensually obtained data. We are transparent about our sources and their limitations.

No single data source tells a complete story. Our methodology is designed to read across multiple systems simultaneously — because the world does not operate in silos, and neither should intelligence about it.

Analytical Integrity
We apply the same analytical framework regardless of the political, geographic, or institutional identity of the subject. Our systems are designed to surface patterns, not to confirm narratives. We run regular internal reviews to identify and correct for bias in our outputs.
We do not accept commissions, direction, or influence from governments, political organizations, or advocacy groups. Our intelligence reflects what the data shows, not what any party wants it to show.
What We Will Not Build
We will not build systems designed to manipulate, surveil, or target individuals or populations. We will not build tools whose primary purpose is to cause harm, enable discrimination, or concentrate power in ways that undermine democratic institutions. We will not knowingly serve clients whose intended use of our products conflicts with these principles.
User Privacy
We do not sell, trade, or monetize personal user data. Our business model is built on the value of our intelligence products. Users are not the product.
We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve our services. We are transparent about what we collect and why. We comply with applicable privacy legislation including Canada's PIPEDA and, where relevant, the GDPR.
AI Safety
We believe AI safety is foundational, not optional. We build during the fastest technological shift in human history and we do not take that lightly. This means we move deliberately, test rigorously, and prioritize getting it right over getting it fast.
We are committed to transparency with our AI provider partners about our use cases, our methodology, and our user base. We proactively communicate rather than waiting to be asked.
Accountability
This policy is not a legal document designed to limit liability. It is a public statement of how we intend to operate. We hold ourselves to it.
